Ever since its inception, BITSAA has grown to be the rallying point for BITSians across the globe who want to keep in touch with batchmates, give back to the BITSian community and in general, stay connected with the happenings back at the Alma Mater. The BITSian spirit is what makes BITSAA what it is today, one of the strongest and most active alumni networks on the planet.

At BITSAA and the Human Resources team, we look for candidates with outstanding credentials who are self driven and can work for BITSAA on a volunteer basis. After inductions, most volunteers are given teams to work with. It is fun interacting with people, other BITsians who share the same passions as you do towards BITS and understand that we need to help the generations of new BITSians going to scale peaks in the future.
The work culture at BITSAA is very unlike a traditional organization. For starters, the hierarchy we have is in name only. Anyone can start up their own project if they are up to the task and can find team members to do so. Besides headhunting, the HR team does Call Co-ordination, which is scheduling of the BITSAA Leaders Conference calls, the making of the minutes of the meetings, managing the BITSAA Lists and Directories, and serves in many ways as the connect between all the teams in BITSAA. We’re like superglue, only more super.
What makes BITSAA International truly international is our presence in every major country in the world, with active chapters meeting up regularly, we try to keep the buzz going. This makes looking for people to join both exciting and challenging, because while this adds a superb diversity during discussions with people from a variety of careers putting in a variety of ideas, scheduling the calls itself is a difficult process due to the time zones!
